Definition.
Very beautiful carafe and glasses in mouth-blown crystal, made in the early 20th century in France, by the famous crystal factory “Saint Louis”.
This items are mouth blown from clear crystal, after which a layer of blue crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the blue crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
This doubled crystal is typical of Saint Louis, they perfected this process and often used it.
You can use this carafe perfectly for a liquor.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
