Italian vintage ceramic vase “Fat lava”
Definition.
Vintage earthenware vase made in the middle of the 20th century in Italy.
The vase is made of cast ceramic, after which it was richly painted by hand and then fired with a glaze layer.
The vase is inspired by the lava of volcanoes. They used an orange glaze layer and at the base of the object they made a black relief, which was supposed to show the ash of the lava.
It is as if the lava is flowing from the vase.
So the name of this set is “Fat Lava”.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage ceramic.
