French crystal Baccarat toilet set “Diamants Pierreries”

Definition.

The toilet set is made around 1900 in France, by the famous crystal factory “Baccarat”

This set have the design of the “Diamants Pierrreries” serrie.

This set exist of 6 different items.

This rare set is mouth blown from clear crystal, after which a layer of blue crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the blue crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.

This doubled crystal is typical of Baccarat, they perfected this process and often used it.

The toilet set is also finished with gold paint.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
