Definition.
Very nice uranium toilet set, made in the beginning of the 20th century in Belgium
The set consists of 9 different objects.
Some have a manufacturer's mark.
The set is made of mouth-blown green glass, with a crystal content that gives a more beautiful shine.
The set is beautifully decorated with cubist shapes and stars.
To obtain a beautiful green color, a particle of uranium was added.
By applying this uranium to the glass, the carafe and bowl give a very nice fluorescent color when you shine UV light on them.
Glass and crystal with uranium were only allowed to be used until 1930.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
