19th century crystal box “BACCARAT”
Definition.
Very nice crystal box, made in at the end of the 19th century in France.
This rare lid box is mouth blown from clear crystal, after which a layer of green crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the green crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
Very nice item to store small items or for decoration.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
