Definition.
Very nice kerosene lamp, made in the 19th century in France by Legras.
This beautiful lamp is made of a combination of metal, marble and crystal/glass.
The base is beautifully decorated with baroque elements, such as floral tendrils.
The foot stool is equipped with a marble on which a brass stem is mounted and then places the glass ball that holds the kerosene
This glass ball is made of mouth-blown glass with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.
Finally, the lamp is finished at the top with a crystal glass that gives the fire more light.
A very nice object as decoration or to use as mood lighting.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for antique glassware over 100 years old.
