5 beautiful water glasses, made at the second part of the 19th century in Belgium, by the famous crystal house “Val Saint Lambert”
The glasses are made of mouth-blown glass, with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.
The glasses have a very simple blown chalice shape, after which ovals were cut around, these are called "Olives"
The stem of the glass is also nicely cut in planes.
The glasses belong to the "Olivier" tableware series.
In the 19th century these were water glasses, now they are mainly used as wine glass.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
