2 Rare clear crystal vases “Val Saint Lambert”
2 Rare clear crystal vases “Val Saint Lambert”
Definition.
The rare vases are made in the middle of the 20th century in Belgium, by the famous crystal factory “Val Saint Lambert”.
This rare vases are mouth blown from clear crystal. During the finishing, part of the crystal is cut away so that beautiful leaves and curls appear.
The vases have the shape of a drinking glass from the 19th century.
1 vase even has a fold at the edge, making it look like you can use them as a watering cup.
Val Saint Lambert uses high lead crystal. This means that at least 33% lead oxide (PbO) is used, more than the statutory 24%. This greatly benefits the quality: The crystal can be processed finer, the degree of brilliance is a lot greater and the crystal is clearer than ever.
This is an absolute masterpiece in terms of glassware and crystal.
At the bottom of the vase you can find the manufacturer's signature.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
