7 French crystal wine/ roemer glasses “Saint Louis – Gravure vert Chartreuse”
Definition.
7 rare, very beautiful wine roemer glasses, made at the end of the 19th century - first part of the 20th century in France, by the famous crystal house “Saint Louis”
The glasses are made of blown crystal.
The trunk is in clear crystal and the convex calyx in green crystal.
After blowing the glasses, very fine curls and figures in the shape of flowers and twigs were engraved around the glass.
If you look closely, we also find the Phoenix or bird of paradise in this drawing.
The glasses are not signed as they were made before 1940.
Very nice glass for the collector of antique Saint Louis glasses.
