6 French crystal liqueur/ roemer glasses “Saint Louis”
Definition.
6 rare, very beautiful liqueur roemer glasses, made in the first part of the 20th century in France, by the famous crystal house “Saint Louis”
This glasses are made of mouth blown clear crystal, after which a layer of colored crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the colored crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
The glasses have a very simple blown chalice shape, with very fine cut diamond motifs.
The stem of the glass is also beautifully cut.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
