7 rare Belgian crystal wine glasses “Val Saint Lambert - Werner” anno 1900

Definition.

7 rare, very beautiful wine glasses, made around 1900 in Belgium, by the famous crystal house “Val Saint Lambert”

This glasses are made of  mouth blown clear crystal, after which a layer of red crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the colored crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.

The glasses have a very simple blown chalice shape, with very fine cut diamond and fan motifs.

The stem of the glass is also beautifully cut.

These glasses belong to the rare "Werner" tableware.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
