6 Saint Louis crystal wine/port glasses “Alger – Gravure cristal de Roche 962”
Definition.
6 beautiful wine/port glasses are made in the second part of the 19th century in France.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown crystal, which gives them a beautiful shine and sound.
Fine lines, flowers and curls are engraved around the glass.
At the bottom of the foot you can see the cut-off of the blowpipe.
These glasses belong to the Saint Louis tableware series "Alger engraved"
In the 19th century these were all wine glasses, now we use it more as port glass.
These are completely handmade, so they can vary in size and weight.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
