18th century oil and vinegar set in silver-plated holder
18th century oil and vinegar set in silver-plated holder
Definition.
This rare oil and vinegar set was manufactured in the 2nd half of the 18th century in Belgium.
The deep blue glass objects were blown mouth and then painted very finely with gold paint.
All bottles and jars fit perfectly in this beautifully silver-plated set.
Given the age, it is very exceptional that all glass objects are still in good condition. Only the gold has some signs of wear.
The silver-plated set is missing 2 screws from the mounted holders at the bottom.
Very nice set for the real collector of 18th century glassware.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
