Definition.

This antique fruit bowl was made in Belgium at the beginning of the 20th century by the famous crystal factory "Val Saint Lambert"

It is made of cast glass with a crystal content in a wooden mold.

The fruit bowl is mounted on a metal base.

We rarely come across these. Most of the models made also have a glass base.

This is a very nice table centerpiece for decoration, with or without fruit.

In the bowl one can find the manufacturer's mark.

This bowl belongs to the tableware line "Bamous et Etoiles”

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
