2 antique glass chalice vases on silver-plated foot “Portieux - Vallerysthal”

Definition.

These beautiful vases were made at the end of the 19th century in France.

The vases are made of blown glass in a wooden mold. A small alloy crystal was added to this glass to obtain a more beautiful shine.

The vases are beautifully decorated with cubist shapes.

The chalice is mounted on a metal base, which is silver-plated.

At the bottom of the base is written "Depose", this could only be used by the better crystal houses to label their objects of quality.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
