German crystal carafe with pewter decoration “Budweiser”
Definition.
Very beautifull carafe in mouth-blown crystal, made in the second part of the 20th century in Germany.
The carafe has a simple shape, after which a decoration is placed around it with tin.
At the top, the decanter is closed with a pewter cap representing an eagle.
This stands for the Budweiser logo.
The decoration is made of 95% pewter.
At the bottom it is marked by the manufacturer.
You can use this carafe perfectly for a liqueur.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
