Antique Val Saint Lambert 19th century goblet
Antique Val Saint Lambert 19th century goblet
Definition.
Beautiful antique beer glass or goblet, made at the 19th century in Belgium.
The goblet is made of mouth-blown glass with lead, this is the old crystal.
The generous-sized rond-shaped bowls standing on baluster stems with wide plinths.
This glass show his wonderfully rustic, hand-made Character, with there slightly uneven shapes and heights, and with trapped air bubbles in the clear glass.
The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower.
Very nice item for the collector of antique glassware.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
