6 German crystal Cognac glasses « Nachtmann »

Definition.

6 beautiful Cognac glasses, made in the middle of the 20th century in Germany.

This glasses are made of  mouth blown clear crystal, after which a layer of colored crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the colored crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.

The glasses have a very simple blown chalice shape, after which very fine grapevines and stars were engraved around the glass.

The base of the glass is also engraved.

The set consists of 6 different colored glasses.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
