6 antique water/wine glasses “Cylindrique - Gravé” 19th century “Baccarat”
Definition.
6 beautiful water/wine glasses, made at the middle of the 19th century in France.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown glass, with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.
The glasses have a beautiful chalice shape and are decorated with finely engraved curls and lines.
The chalice of the glass is mounted on a teardrop-shaped stem.
At the bottom of the foot you can see the cut-off of the blowpipe.
These glasses belong to the Baccarat tableware series “Cylindrique”
In the 19th century this was a water glass, now we use it more as a wine glass.
These are completely handmade, so they can differ in size and weight.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
