11 rare Belgian shot / liqueur glasses “Doyen”
Definition.
11 Very beautiful shot / liqueur glasses, made in the first part of the 20th century in Belgium.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown glass, with a crystal content to get a more beautiful shine.
The glasses have a beautiful sleek shape and are decorated with gold and red painting.
The glasses are unique and special because they have markings for how much you want to drink.
The glass indicates that you can drink like a Ladie or like a Gentlemen.
But for the more daring, it's drinking like a small or large pig.
This also makes the glasses so funny to use.
Definitely brings nice conversations when seeing the glasses.
At the bottom you can find the mark that they are made in Belgium.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade art deco glassware.
