Very nice vintage wall plate, made in the 2nd half of the 20th Century in Belgium.

The wall plate is made from shaped ceramic, after which a beautiful colored glaze is applied.

The wall plate represents Tijl and Nele, these are 2 Iconic figures from Belgian history.

The wall plate was drawn at the back by the designer, Jan Mevensen.

Given its age, a small trace of use may be present.
