7 crystal port / liqueur glasses Val Saint Lambert "Laurence"
7 crystal port / liqueur glasses Val Saint Lambert "Laurence"
Definition.
7 beautiful port / liqueur glasses, made at the end of the 19th century in Belgium.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown crystal, giving them a nice shine and sound.
They have a very simple straight shape and are finished with engraved curls and lines. The glasses have a teardrop-shaped stem.
At the bottom of the foot you can see the cut-off of the blowpipe.
The glasses belong to the "Laurence" tableware series.
NOTE: This glass was in the 19th century the white wine glass, now we use it as a port or liqueur glass.
The crystal in the 19th century was also not as clear as we know it today.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
