Large amethyst colored art deco glass vase “Doyen” with flowers

Definition.

Very beautiful amethyst colored art deco vase, made at the beginning of the 20th century in Belgium.

The vase is made of mouth-blown glass with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.

The vase has a very nice convex shape with an opening edge. The edge is serrated.

After blowing the vase, flowers were applied with the cold painting technique.

At the bottom of the vase you can find the cut of the blowpipe.

With the right light, the beauty of the vase comes into its own even more.

This large vase is very nice as decoration with a bouquet of flowers

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade art deco glassware.
