Art deco Crystal Ice Bucket with silver-plated handle

Definition.

This beautiful crystal ice bucket was made in the first part of the 20th century .

The ice bucket is made of cast crystal and has a very pure color.

To achieve this purity, Bleikrital was used, which is one of the purest types of crystal.

The ice bucket is beautifully decorated with a crackle effect, as if the glass is completely cracked.

This technique was first used in the Art Deco era.

Even Val Saint Lambert used this technique.

The ice bucket is finished with a metal ring and handle which is silver-plated.

There are marks to be found.

Very nice set to use when serving a fresh drink, to which your guests like to add extra ice.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
