7 wine / water glasses – goblets anno 1880
7 wine / water glasses – goblets anno 1880
Definition.
7 beautiful wine / Water glasses or also called goblets, made at the second part of the 19th century in France.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown glas.
The glasses are mounted on a flat base without a trunk.
The glasses have a beautiful ribbed pattern, which we also find in the tableware glasses from Legras.
At the bottom of the foot you can see the cut-off of the blowpipe.
In the 19th century this was a water glass, now we use it more as a wine glass.
These are completely handmade, so they can vary in size and weight.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
