Biedermeier oil, vinegar, pepper, salt and mustard set
Biedermeier oil, vinegar, pepper, salt and mustard set
Definition.
This 19th century set is made in one of the more famous French crystal / glass factories.
The bottles and jars have a very similar motif for the work of Legras and Baccarat.
The beautiful bambou twisted motif can be found in their early work.
The bottles and caps are made of mouth-blown glass, with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.
The spice jars are made according to the cast glassware.
The entire set is held together by a beautiful metal holder, which nicely depicts the Biedermeier era.
Unfortunately, some items have some flaws due to use over the years.
But it is exceptional that this set is still so complete.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
