French crystal basket with bronze handle

Definition.

Very nice crystal fruit basket with bronze handle.

It was made at the end of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century by the famous bronze casters in Paris.

The bowl is made of blown crystal, after which a very precise diamond pattern is cut.

This pattern can be found in the crystal work of Baccarat, which was also partly at work in Versailles.

The handle is made of braided bronze which is beautifully gold-plated.

The bowl still has the original paper ticket, which refers to the quality brand from Paris – Versailles.

The fruit bowl is very nice for decoration on the table or cupboard. You can use it for fruit.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
