Definition.
This beautiful art deco plate l is made at the middel of the 20th century in Belgium.
The green bowl is made of cast glass with a crystal content, to obtain a more beautiful shine.
The glass is nice decorated with abstract flowers or stars.
The glass bowl is mounted in a metal ironwork consisting of roses and leaves.
This ironwork may have been designed by the Belgian blacksmith "Van Boeckel 1857-1944". He is world famous for its art deco ironwork, mainly with flowers.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade art deco glassware.
