French crystal carafe with silver-plated rim
French crystal carafe with silver-plated rim
Definition.
Beautiful mouth-blown crystal carafe, made at the end of the 19th century in France.
During the finish, part of the crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
A silver-plated ring was applied to the neck.
The decanter is in very nice condition and can be used perfectly for a liqueur.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
