Very nice art deco Bouillotte table lamp.
This table lamp is made of gilded bronze with a shade made of black lacquered tin.
The 3 lamp holders represent angels.
This table lamp was mainly used at the card playing table, during a game of Bouillotten.
Hence its name Bouillotte lamp.
The dark shade over the lamp served as a shield from the light, so that the players would not be blinded. All that was needed was bright light on the card table.
With its appearance, this lamp fits into any rustic – antique interior as a beautiful mood lamp.
