6 Scottish crystal wine glasses "Royal Edinburg - thistle"
Definition.
6 Very beautiful vintage wine glasses, made in the middle of the 20th century in Scotland.
The glasses are made of mouth-blown crystal.
After which they were very finely sharpened, with the well-known thistle pattern at the top. This is the symbol of Scotland.
At the bottom of the glass is a fine diamond pattern.
The chalice of the glasses is mounted on a cut stem, with a finely cut base in the shape of a star underneath.
Most glasses were not provided with a signature in acid etching technique, only a few exceptions do have this stamp.
This rare prestige glass is no longer made and has therefore become a true collector's item.
It is very rare that 6 of the same glasses are offered.
Please note, since these glasses are handmade, the sizes and weights may differ from each other.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
