Definition.

6 beautiful wine / port glasses, made at the end of the 19th century in Belgium.

The glasses are made of mouth-blown crystal, giving them a nice shine and sound.

They have a very simple ballon shape and are finished with engraved curls and lines. The glasses have a straight stem with 2 thickenings.

At the bottom of the foot you can see the cut-off of the blowpipe.

The glasses belong to the "Lothaire" tableware series

NOTE: This glass was in the 19th century the white wine glass, now we use it as a port glass.

            The crystal in the 19th century was also not as clear as we know it today.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
