Belgian Ruby red crystal carafe “Val Saint Lambert - Muscadet”
Definition.
Very beautiful carafe in mouth-blown crystal, made in the middle of the 20th century in Belgium, by the famous crystal factory “Val Saint Lambert”.
This rare carafe is mouth blown from clear crystal, after which a layer of red crystal is applied over it. During the finish, part of the red crystal is then cut away so that beautiful geometric figures appear. These, in turn, give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
This doubled crystal is typical of Saint Louis, they perfected this process and often used it.
You can use this carafe perfectly for a liqueur.
The name of the carafe is Muscadet.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade vintage glassware.
