French crystal liqueur decanter
French crystal liqueur decanter
Definition.
This beautiful carafe was made in the first part of the 20th century, by one of the famous French glassworkers, like baccarat or Saint Louis.
The carafe is made of mouth-blown clear crystal, after which a yellow crystal base is mounted underneath.
After blowing the carafe, surfaces and figures were cut around the carafe.
This beautiful convex carafe is perfect for storing a liqueur.
Very nice unique item for the collectors.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
